Caley Home Care in Edinburgh is seeking a dedicated Female Care Supervisor to join our compassionate team. This role is open to candidates currently residing in the UK on Student Visas (with completed CAS course end date), Graduate Visas, or Dependent Visas. Applicants must have their own car and a valid driver’s licence.

YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS CARE TEAM LEAD EXPERIENCE
2 Week Rota (W1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun. W2: Wed, Thu, Fri)
07:00-14:00 AND 16:00-22:30
£14.50 per hour
£0.35 per mile (mileage claim)
Biweekly pay schedule (Fridays, fortnightly)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of care staff to ensure high-quality care is provided to clients.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and review of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to clients’ individual needs.
- Conduct and record observations on clients’ health, well-being, and behaviour, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals and management.
- Ensure all staff follow care plans and risk assessments to provide safe and effective support.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals and oversee medication management within the team.
- Provide hands-on support when needed, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Conduct team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing staff development to maintain high standards of care.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records related to client care, staff performance, and shift handovers.
- Act as the first point of contact for any concerns, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring they are managed appropriately.
Requirements:
- Own car and valid driver’s license (non-negotiable)
- Currently residing in the UK on one of the following visas: Student, Graduate, Dependent
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in care preferred
- Compassionate and patient demeanour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes
- Must pass a background check
