Salary:
£25,000 per year, monthly pay.
Overtime is paid at £12.82 per hour when available.
Hours of Work:
Contracted to 37.5 hours per week, typically worked over 4–5 days
Our service operates 7:00am – 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday
Your shifts will be rostered fairly across these times to ensure full coverage
Please note: we are unable to authorise fixed days off or set times, as flexibility is essential in frontline care

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing Personal Care – Assisting clients with washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming while maintaining their dignity and independence.
- Medication Support – Administering or prompting medication as per care plans.
- Companionship & Emotional Support – Engaging with clients, reducing loneliness, and providing reassurance.
- Meal Preparation & Feeding Assistance – Preparing nutritious meals and helping clients eat if required.
- Mobility Assistance – Supporting clients with moving around safely, including hoisting and repositioning if necessary.
- Household Tasks – Helping with light housekeeping, laundry, and shopping to maintain a comfortable home environment.
- Running Errands – Assisting with shopping, prescription collection, or attending medical appointments.
- Monitoring & Reporting – Observing changes in health and well-being and reporting concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Promoting Independence – Encouraging clients to do as much as they can for themselves while offering appropriate support.
- Building Relationships – Developing a trusting relationship with clients and their families, ensuring a person-centred approach to care.
