Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care home and home care settings. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the wellbeing of those in their care. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support with mobility and transferring, ensuring safety at all times
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
  • Follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs and preferences
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure holistic care
  • Support clients with medication reminders if trained and authorised to do so
  • Uphold health and safety standards in all aspects of work, including infection control measures

Skills

  • Valid driving licence and ability to travel between care locations efficiently
  • Experience working within a care home or providing home care services is desirable

  • Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
