About the Role:
As a Live-in Carer with IPHomecare, you will live with your client and provide ongoing support with daily living tasks, personal care, and social activities. Every day is different — from helping with routines and preparing meals, to offering companionship, encouragement, and emotional support. You’ll be making a real difference by helping clients develop life skills, maintain independence, and enjoy meaningful experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each client’s care plan
- Encourage clients to build confidence and independence
- Support with cooking, light household tasks, and medication reminders
- Accompany clients to appointments, community activities, and outings
- Promote wellbeing, inclusion, and engagement through meaningful activities
- Maintain accurate care notes and communicate effectively with the iPhomecare team
About You:
- Kind, patient, and compassionate with a genuine desire to help others
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities (preferred but not essential)
- Full UK driver’s licence preferred, as some placements may require driving
- Willingness to learn – full training and ongoing support provided
- Must have the right to work in the UK
