We are seeking dedicated and compassionate female live-in carers who are confident drivers and committed to a long-term role, providing exceptional care and support to our clients.
JOB LOCATION
Various locations across southern England, predominantly in countryside settings.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: £12.82 per hour (£25,000 per year)
- Sponsorship: Available for candidates currently in the UK and eligible to switch employers.
- Accommodation and Meals: Free live-in accommodation and food, eliminating daily commuting costs (an approximate saving of £6,000–£12,000 per year compared to private renting).
- Private Accommodation: Typically includes your own bedroom and bathroom. Some placements may offer a separate cottage or apartment within the grounds.
- Holiday Allowance: 20 days of paid annual leave, plus 8 paid bank holidays, which can be taken as leave or added to your holiday allowance.
Responsibilities
You will work 37.5 – 50 hours per week, with hours carefully monitored to ensure compliance. Additional hours are worked only with prior agreement.
Your duties will vary depending on the client, but common responsibilities include:
- Personal Care: Supporting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, toileting, grooming, nutrition, mobility, and overall well-being.
- Companionship: Providing emotional support and company.
- Medication Management: Administering or prompting medication in line with the care plan.
- Cooking: Preparing healthy and nutritious meals
- Housekeeping: Tasks may include cooking, cleaning, laundry, organising, shopping, managing bills, dog-walking and basic property maintenance.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of the client’s care and well-being.

Mandatory Criteria
Right to Work in the UK
- You must currently have the legal right to work in the UK and be eligible to switch to a Skilled Worker visa if required. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from candidates holding visas that do not allow switching or from visitors on short-term visas.
UK Driving Licence
- You must hold a valid UK driving licence
English Language
- You must meet the English language requirements for the Skilled Worker visa.
DBS Check
- A full criminal background check (DBS) will be required during the recruitment process.
- You must have a clean criminal record in the UK.
Living Arrangement
- This role requires you to live full-time in the spare bedroom provided by the client family.
- For practical reasons, candidates must not have dependants or other individuals living with them.
