Key Responsibilities
You’ll play a key role in keeping Tpas’ day-to-day finances running smoothly and reliably. Working closely with our Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of core finance administration, making sure processes are accurate, consistent and on time.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Maintaining accurate records within our finance system (Xero)
- Raising, issuing and processing sales invoices
- Managing the purchase ledger and processing supplier invoices
- Preparing payments for approval, including staff expenses
- Carrying out routine banking tasks and supporting reconciliations
- Supporting debt management through regular debt chasing and follow-up
- Setting up and maintaining standing orders, direct debits and recurring payments
- Preparing routine financial information and running standard reports
- Providing reliable cover for essential finance processes when needed
- You’ll also work with the Finance Manager to improve and streamline finance processes, respond to routine finance queries from colleagues, and support the preparation of information for accountants or auditors.

- Experience in a finance administration, accounts assistant or similar role

- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- The ability to manage your workload independently in a remote working environment
- Clear, professional communication skills

- Experience in a membership body, charity or social housing environment is welcome, but not essential.
