Main Duties

  • Plan and develop responsive front-end features/components in ReactJS/TS
  • Write efficient, reusable, and testable code for the front end in ReactJS/TS
  • Identify and address insecure (vulnerable), unscalable implementations and areas of improvement (inefficient code, slow loading, bad practices)
  • Define, create, and maintain unit tests for the front-end
  • Participate in code review for the front-end
  • Perform database updates as necessary
  • Debug issues in both development and production environments
  • Consistently ship small features, functionalities, and improvements with minimal guidance
  • Participate in sprint planning and estimation of technical tasks
  • Respond to queries from other stakeholders as necessary
  • Participate in releases
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions

Qualifications

Competences:

  • Good written and spoken communication in English

Technical skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in ReactJS/TS
  • Understanding how React hooks works
  • Development of React applications based on hooks (or functional components)
  • Experience with Redux
  • Create components and CSS based on material-ui
  • Create responsive CSS with Grid and Flex
  • Create CSS animations
  • Create components and CSS not only for major browsers
  • Ability to write unit tests and testable front-end code
  • Experience working with RESTful web services
  • Hands-on experience with Material-ui and KonvaJS (or working with canvases in general) is an advantage
  • Ability to work with third-party libraries regardless of the quality of the documentation.
  • Experience using GIT
  • Work with git in the terminal
  • Experience with – merge, stash, resolve conflicts
  • Knowledge of developing unit tests
  • Experience in Docker
  • Experience with docker CLI commands

  • Configure the rules of ESLint
  • Experience in working with or knowledge of web flow implementations is an advantage
