Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 a year

About the Role

Our organisation is looking for a General Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the office team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a well organised and timely manner.

Main Responsibilities

  • Screening and directing telephone calls – Handling queries and taking messages where appropriate
  • Maintaining diary – schedule appointments and meetings
  • Managing inboxes – Reviewing and attending to emails
  • Organising correspondence for live projects – preparing letters & reports, as well as liaising with onsite staff, suppliers & clients
  • Maintaining Office procedures / administrative systems – filing, completing incoming & outgoing Health & Safety paperwork
  • Back Office Support – Maintaining appropriate levels of office supplies, stationary & uniform

Requirements:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft packages- Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • The ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely
  • The ability to work on your own initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Schedule: Monday to Thursday – 9AM -5:30 PM Friday 9AM -5PM (1 Hour lunch break)

Role is office based

Supplemental pay types: Yearly bonus

Work Location: In person – NW9 8TR London (must be able to get to office easily)

Experience preferred but not essential as we WILL train you.
