Job Overview:
This salaried graduate business internship offers a unique opportunity to explore and engage with various aspects of our business – from identifying gaps in the market and developing new products, to assisting in operational management, sales, marketing, and accounting. The successful candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, a keen eye for new product opportunities, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Market Research and Product Development: The intern will be primarily tasked with identifying new product opportunities by analyzing market trends and gaps. This role will involve active participation in the product development process, feasibility projects for new growth areas, and leading independent new product projects under the guidance of the company Director.
- Operations and Sales: The intern will also take part in operations management, sales, and marketing activities. This includes maintaining stock levels for existing product lines, managing relationships with suppliers, and liaising with internal teams such as CAD/render artists and graphic designers.
- Accounting and Compliance: Exposure to the financial side of the business will involve activities related to accounting, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Given the diverse nature of the role, the intern will have ample opportunities to work with various departments within the company, which will help gain a holistic understanding of our business operations.
Requirements
- Russell Group University Degree or overseas equivalent.
- STEM degree subjects preferred
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a keen eye for new product opportunities.
- High motivation levels and strong interpersonal skills.
- Eligibility for full-time employment in the UK.
- Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical sales is not a requirement.
Offer and Benefits:
The internship is a paid position with a salary of £50,000 applicable to both the internship period and the potential full-time position. For exceptional candidates, there will be an opportunity for full-time employment after the internship, accompanied by an attractive signing bonus of £,5000 paid at 18 months of continuous employment.
