About the Role
Indiana Healthcare Services is a leading provider of high-quality care home staffing and domiciliary care services across Devon and Cornwall. We are currently expanding our services in Truro and the surrounding areas of Cornwall, and we are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) who can drive to join our dedicated team. Our services cater to a diverse range of clients, including those with learning difficulties, complex care requirements, mental health needs, dementia, and elderly care.
Job Description: We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide exceptional, client-centered care. Whether you are supporting individuals with learning difficulties, dementia, or offering respite care, your role will be crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. We offer the flexibility to choose between block-booked shifts and accommodate your scheduling preferences.
Main Duties
- Maintain outstanding standards of care for service users.
- Perform personal care tasks, including assisting with safe lifting and moving of service users.
- Administer medication as needed.
- Prepare and plan meals.
- Enable service users to achieve independence in alignment with their care plan.
- Provide companionship and support to service users as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-6 months UK experience as a Health Care Assistant.
- Valid driving license and access to a car.
- Genuine passion for healthcare and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Friendly, caring, and considerate nature.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK.
