Summary
We are currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Rapid Sussex Care in Hove. In this role, you will provide essential support to elderly clients in their own homes, ensuring they receive the care and assistance necessary for a comfortable and independent lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
- Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity.
- Drive to clients’ homes as needed, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits.
Requirements
- Experience in home care or healthcare settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately and effectively.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping purposes.
- A valid driver’s license is advantageous but not mandatory.
