About the Role:
At K&S Care Solutions Ltd, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. We are currently looking for a female care assistant to join our compassionate team and support our female clients with dignity and respect.
Please note: This role is open to female applicants only, as it involves providing personal care to female clients. This is in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance within their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to client care. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication and light housekeeping.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Deliver specialised care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members and other caregivers.
Requirements
- Previous experience not needed as full training given.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is advantageous.
- A valid driver’s licence to facilitate travel between client locations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A caring attitude towards individuals requiring assistance, demonstrating empathy and patience.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
