Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.)
- Assist with mobility and transferring clients
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Follow care plans and document client progress
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold client dignity
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a homecare or healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and patience with clients
- A valid driver’s license
- A background check may be required
