Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • A genuine desire to work with and care for people
  • Willingness to learn and embrace the challenges of supporting vulnerable individuals, including those with dementia or other illnesses
  • PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) certification for working with vulnerable adults and children (we can assist with applications for those without PVG)
  • A valid driving license and access to a car are required for this role.

Hours:

All Care Workers follow a condensed repeating schedule:

Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Friday

Full-time Care Workers are on the rota for a full day, while part-time Care Workers are on the rota for half a day. You will be required to work every 2nd weekend.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide essential support to service users in their own homes.
  • Promote independence in daily tasks while adhering to individual care plans.
  • Assist service users with personal care in line with their specific needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe home environment, free from health and safety hazards.
  • Maintain detailed record-keeping.

Work Location: People’s Homes in the Local Community
