Care Confidence is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Female Home Care Assistants to join the team in Liverpool. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting people to live independently in their own homes.
Applicants with previous experience in home care or a care home setting are preferred, though full training will be provided for those new to care. To be successful, candidates must have strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal), the ability to follow care plans accurately, and the confidence to use IT systems for maintaining records and effective team communication.
As this is a Females Only role, applicants must also have a driving licence and access to their own car, as travel between client homes is essential. Please note that sponsorships and visa switches are not available for this position.

Care Confidence is a family-run home care provider founded by Alex Strange, inspired by his personal journey of supporting his father, Arthur, who developed vascular dementia, and his mother, Sue, who became a full-time carer. Sue was determined that no one could care for Arthur better than she could, which highlighted the need for a care provider that clients could truly trust.
With over 15 years of experience in the care industry, combined with his qualification as a registered nurse and his personal experience caring for his father, Alex established Care Confidence to deliver the highest quality of care at home. Overview
Welcome to Care Confidence Home care, a family run home care provider in Sefton. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for others and possesses a strong ability to communicate effectively. The Home Assistant will play a vital role in assisting with daily living activities, ensuring that clients feel comfortable, safe, and supported.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with meal preparation and dietary needs, ensuring adherence to care plans.
- GO ABOVE AND BEYOND AND STAY FULL TIME AT EACH VISIT.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping for groceries.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate any changes in the client’s condition to relevant parties.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to understand and follow care plans accurately.
- IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively with team members.
- A valid driving license is ESSENTIAL.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.
- Availability to work 7-2, 3-10pm or long days.

- 0.60p per mile travel time pay
- Claim you mileage back with our accounts department every April. Claim 45p per mile for first 10000 Miles.
