Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding as required
- Administering medication following care plans and instructions
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with household tasks including light cleaning and laundry
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided in accordance with organisational policies
- Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Driving to clients’ homes using company vehicles where necessary
Requirements
- Valid driving licence and the ability to drive safely to client locations
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in providing personalised care
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
The position is contingent on a satisfactory enhanced DBS check, positive references, and the ability to work in the United Kingdom.

Rate of pay depends on the type of work you do, whether you are employed on a permanent, part time or casual basis, your level of experience and your qualifications
Hours of work per week are from 8 – 38 hours. This would depend on your flexibility and availability of shift.
