Here at OneCloud Healthcare we are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team. You will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in need. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines
- Monitor and document changes in clients’ health or behaviour
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Requirements:
- Preferable with home care experience but NOT esstential
- Familiarity supporting service users within their own homes
- Experience in care at home dementia care, hospice care, or assisted living is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient
