About the Role
Norvic Healthcare are recruiting experienced Homecare Workers in North Norfolk. All our clients are on block rounds, which starts from 0700 – 21:00 7 days per week.
Purpose of Position
- To assist clients to remain at home in familiar surroundings enhancing their quality of life.
- Provide social contact, especially for service users who live alone.
- Being the face of ‘care in the community’ and acting as our representative.
- To work in conjunction with our values: Nurture – Openness – Respect -Valued – Integrity – Compassion
Key responsibilities:
- Practical social support, shopping, appointments, light domestic duties
- Companionship
- Personal Care including physical assistance
- Food preparation
- Medication
- Family support
Person specification:
- Caring and compassionate nature (essential)
- Competent in English language – both written and verbal (essential)
- Hold a current valid Full UK driver’s license (essential)
- Previous care experience (essential)
- Hold a current DBS certificate which is registered onto the Disclosure and Barring Service (desirable) otherwise a new DBS will be applied for (cost refunded after 3 months of employment)
