Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and behaviour management
- Support clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia care, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for case management and patient care
Skills
- Proficient in first aid and CPR techniques
