Housing Related Support Worker – Creative Support | Full-Time & Part-Time

Creative Support is recruiting a motivated and compassionate Housing Related Support Worker (Driver) to join its team in Grimsby, North Lincolnshire, offering both full-time and part-time roles within a supportive and rewarding social care environment.

This position focuses on helping individuals maintain stable housing and improve independence through practical guidance and personalised support. You will work closely with service users to provide advice on housing options, assist them in accessing appropriate services, and encourage meaningful engagement with community resources that promote wellbeing and long-term stability.

As part of the role, you will signpost individuals to relevant local services that meet their wider support needs, including health, social care, employment, and community programmes. The ability to build trusting relationships, communicate clearly, and provide empathetic support is essential to helping service users achieve positive outcomes.

Candidates should be organised, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. A driving licence is required to support community-based work and outreach activities across the local area.

We are seeking a warm, motivated individual to join our team in Grimsby, focusing on housing-related mental health support alongside our Service Manager and Community Links and Assessment Co-ordinator.

In this role, you will provide outcome-focused support to individuals over 18 who need housing-related assistance. Your work will help improve mental health, sustain tenancies, maximize independent living skills, enhance engagement with landlords and accommodation providers, improve money management and reduce debt and arrears, enhance home safety, reduce homelessness and the threat of homelessness, better manage substance misuse issues, and access volunteering opportunities both within and outside the service.

Please note, a full UK driving license is an essential requirement for this role, due to travelling around the community to provide support to servicer users in their own households.

You will offer advice and guidance on housing and support options, helping service users access and engage with these services. Additionally, you will signpost other services that may meet their support needs.
