Housing Support Worker

Second Chance Housing is seeking a full-time Support Worker to join our small, committed team supporting adults in Exempt Accommodation across Greater Manchester. Our tenants include individuals with complex needs and high-risk backgrounds, including MAPPA-level ex-offenders, arsonists, individuals with a history of sexual offences, addiction, and serious mental health issues.

This is a field-based role with a fixed Monday to Friday schedule. You will work independently, visiting tenants in their homes, delivering structured housing-related support, and completing welfare calls. All visits are risk-assessed and supported by a lone working policy, with full guidance provided.

You will not provide personal care. The focus is on tenancy sustainment, emotional support, and helping individuals reduce risk and maintain housing stability.
