(A) Legal Counsel
Main Duties
- Reporting to the Company Secretary and Legal Adviser, the successful candidate will have primary responsibility for the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, policy and regulatory documents, etc., for the CPFA.Â
- Other responsibilities include preparation of minutes of meetings, vetting of correspondences, providing guidance and opinion on compliance with relevant legislations, as well as required documentation for corporate filings.
Qualifications
- LL.B. and B.L.
- LLM in Commercial Law, and/or membership of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria will be an advantage.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ post-graduate experience, with at least 2 years in a Company Secretariat of a Pension Fund Administrator or other Liability Company or a Corporate Law firm providing Company Secretariat services to Pension Fund Administrators /Liability Companies.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
(B) Human Resources Specialist
Main Duties
- Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for administering general human resources processes, including talent management, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations/welfare, learning and development, HRIS administration and recruitment.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years’ cognate experience.
- Working experience in the Pension/Financial Services industry with HR Certification would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of Nigerian Employment laws.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
(C) Procurement Officer
Main Duties
- Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the procurement processes of TEPNG CPFA. Inherent in this will be to ensure that standard procedures are followed and all agreed terms and conditions in the contracts are executed and met by vendors of TEPNG CPFA.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or any other quantitative and Social Science discipline.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience in Supply Chain Management / Contract and Procurement.
- Experience in Purchase to Pay (P2P) transactions will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Good organizational ability as well as ability to multitask.
(D) Customer Service Officer
Main Duties
- Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the successful candidate will be the primary contact with clients with responsibility for addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance. He/she will also manage general administrative tasks for the CPFA, including organising company events, as well as coordinating travel and other logistics arrangements.
Qualifications
- A good bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in customer service, preferably within the Financial Services industry or Pension Administration sector.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong people skills, with the ability to build rapport, foster trust, and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Sound problem-solving skills.
(E) Accountant
Main Duties
- Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing timely and accurate financial reports, in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. A key component of this role will be to maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for all transactions, including contributions, investments, disbursements, and expenses.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related fields. A related master’s degree will be an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as ACA or ACCA.
- A minimum of two (2) years’ relevant work experience in accounting or finance roles within the Pension and/or Financial Services sectors.
- Proficiency in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and draw meaningful insights.
(F) Risk Analyst
Main Duties
- Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks that could impact the financial performance, reputation, or operations of the Company. This role encompasses interaction with internal subject matter experts and external regulators, including PenCom, FRC, CBN, SEC, amongst others.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences, Business/Management, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related quantitative disciplines.
- A minimum of two (2) years’ relevant work experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, or risk management roles, preferably in the Financial Services industry.
- Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment techniques.
(G) Web Applications/Database Administrator
Main Duties
- Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the job holder will provide business and ICT-related consultancy for implementation and support of both business and financial database applications. Critical focus areas will include SharePoint and web applications administration, database administration, business analysis, applications support, enterprise resource planning.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or Information Systems.
- A minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience (covering website management, application development and database administration).
- Practical experience in the use of Java, HTML, CSS, PHP, Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle.
- Certifications such as PMBOK, MCSE Business Intelligence, database architecture design and/or Azure web application will be an advantage.
- Good multi-tasking, analytical and interpersonal skills.
