We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our growing team at Excelly. The ideal candidate will combine strong business process knowledge with technical skills to deliver insights that drive smarter decision-making. This role involves working with stakeholders across multiple industries to identify business needs, translate them into requirements, and support the delivery of data-driven solutions. You will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency, supporting client projects, and contributing to continuous improvement.
Duties
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather, document, and clarify business requirements.
- Conduct data analysis and generate reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Support process mapping, workflow design, and business modelling to identify improvements.
- Contribute to project delivery by preparing documentation, business cases, and functional specifications.
- Participate in Agile project management practices, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Write SQL queries for reporting and data validation (training available if required).
- Assist with testing and implementation phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Provide clear communication of findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing and refining existing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, IT, or a related field.
- Previous experience in business analysis, consulting, or a similar role (internship or entry-level experience welcome).
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) desirable.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or process modelling tools (e.g., Visio) is an advantage.
- Understanding of Agile or project management principles preferred.
