About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant to support our team in various administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring smooth office operations and providing high-quality support to our staff.

Main Duties

  • Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date in our systems.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, scheduling appointments, and managing office supplies.
  • Utilise Google Suite for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations as required.
  • Support financial record-keeping using QuickBooks for invoicing and expense tracking.
  • Maintain an organised office environment by keeping files and documents systematically arranged.
  • Collaborate with team members on various projects, providing assistance where needed to ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
  • Proficient in using Google Suite applications and QuickBooks; familiarity with other office software is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accuracy in data entry and record management.
