Job Title: Operations Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6+ months
Hybrid Work- 3 days on site
Job Description
- In-depth knowledge of equity, fixed income and derivative asset classes
- 5+ years of experience in financial data management, accounting, trading or back-office securities processing
- Data scrubbing and exception management of a multi-component, firm-wide asset master
- Working with financial benchmark data – both summary and constituent-level data
- Working closely with corporate actions, pricing, risk, compliance and accounting teams to resolve issues
Required Qualification:
- Previous experience working for an asset management or wealth management firm
- Expert-level Excel user – some experience with MS Access
- Broad-based knowledge across all security types – both domestic and foreign markets
- Knowledge of Bloomberg data – preferably having completed Bloomberg certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of SQL – especially with securities data
- Some experience w/ Python also preferred
- Prior experience with S&P Markit EDM, Advent APX, Charles River IMS
- Some experience with cross-platform financial data analysis
Minimum Years of Experience:
- 5 years in financial industry – preferably w/ asset management firms
