My Death My Decision is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Officer to join its remote team on a part-time basis. Overview
My Death, My Decision is a grassroots campaign group that wants the law in England and Wales to allow those who are terminally ill or intolerably suffering the option of a legal, safe, and compassionate assisted death.
We need a proficient contractor, who can join as soon as possible, roll their sleeves up, and ensure that the our day-to-day operations continues smoothly.
Duties
- Manage CRM and remote workspaces (Google Workspace, Donorfy, Mailchimp), working with external freelancers where required
- Training of staff and Board members in digital systems as required.
- Leading on website edits, integrations, and forms including working with external freelancers where required.
- Supporting the planning, implementation and monitoring of supporter, member and donor journeys and associated systems.
- Onboarding and supervising volunteers.
- Administrative management of the Clinical Advisory Group, including membership, email marketing and running digital events.
- Answering enquiries from members and the public about donations and membership.
- Support with regular cash appeals and fundraising projects
- Support colleagues with the production of timely responses to public consultations, press enquiries, or any other reasonably requested activities.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of CRMs a must. Knowledge of Donorfy a major advantage, as is fund-raising experience.
- Profient in Google Workspace suite of products, admin experience a definite advantage.
- Proven hands-on experience of website management.
- Knowledge of Stripe and Paypal an advantage.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Can-do attitude.
- Supporter of a compassionate law on Assisted Dying a major advantage.
