Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for sales and customer engagement? Talent Tent is recruiting for a dynamic Outbound Sales Advisor to join a leading company in a fully remote role. This is your chance to excel in a fast-paced environment, where you’ll connect with potential customers, build relationships, and drive business growth from the comfort of your home
About the Recruitment Agency
Many big players in the business world are getting it wrong by overlooking the real, human element that makes a company truly great. Talent Tent recognizes that employees are the cornerstone of any successful business. In the UK, only 23% of startups and businesses successfully grow and scale, and the number becomes even smaller when excluding larger corporations. A key factor behind this is the failure to value and nurture the talent working behind the scenes.
Founded by Katie and Luke in Cardiff, Talent Tent was created to change this narrative. Proudly born in Wales but serving businesses nationwide, Talent Tent specializes in helping startups and SMEs build happy, motivated, and high-performing teams that drive business growth. Through people-focused HR strategies, Talent Tent ensures companies not only attract the right talent but also retain them, fostering long-term success.
Passionate about people, Talent Tent partners with businesses that share their commitment to building strong, thriving teams.
Position: Outbound Sales Advisor
Salary: £23,000 a year
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Remote, UK
About the Role
Start dates in February 2025
Are you motivated by targets, undaunted by challenges, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, remote, sales environment? If you’re looking for a role where hard work pays off and career progression is real, this could be the perfect fit.
The Role in a Nutshell
You’ll be making outbound sales calls to current, ex-, and potential customers, helping them choose the best insurance products for their appliances or devices. This is a remote role where resilience, rapport-building, and motivation are key to success.
If you’re self-motivated, great at building rapport, and thrive in a remote environment, this role is built for you.
Main Duties
Day to day, you will be;
- Calling customers with new products, campaigns and offers
- Helping customers decide on the best package for them
You will be given two weeks initial training, and then ongoing support in your role to ensure you flourish, and achieve your targets. There is lots of opportunity for internal progression within the company.
Qualifications
What experience do you need to apply?
You might have a background in targeted sales but this isn’t essential. We need to look at your CV and see evidence that you can work in this environment. This may come through directly similar work or closely related professionals such as retail and hospitality – backgrounds that demonstrate having interacted with customers in volume and ideally requiring resilience.
With that said, if you read the essentials a bit further down and still think that’s you – apply.
If this role would be a new career for you, include a few lines on your CV or in a separate cover letter (a simple paragraph would be fine) on why you have applied for the role and how our experience relates.
For the best chance of being shortlisted, ensure your CV has dates and large gaps explained.
Role essentials
- Have a history working in a high volume, busy environment requiring resilience or a few lines in your application as to why you would fit the role
- A great attitude to customer service, sales and working alongside a team
- Have access to broadband and a place to work from home (you will be given all the equipment you need)
- Be able to work shifts with a finish time no later than 19:30 in the week and 17:30 on a Friday.
Benefits
- Generous bonus potential (£500-£700 per month, top performers go above this)
- Remote working
- Progression into more senior sales roles or sideways into other areas of the business
- Great benefits package (health and wellbeing schemes, insurance policy benefits, enhanced employer pension and salary sacrifice schemes).
- Hopefully, a long and successful career in financial services
Final point
Working remotely isn’t for everyone. It requires a self-starter mentality, the ability to bounce back from challenges, and a determination to hit your targets without someone physically nearby to cheer you on. Sound like you?
