Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Support clients with meal preparation and dietary requirements according to care plans
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing
  • Help with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed routines
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and documentation tools
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
  • Support clients with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation

Experience

  • Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
  • Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow prescribed routines accurately
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining records and updating care documentation
  • Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving client transportation but not mandatory for NIGHT TIME positions
  • A caring attitude, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills are vital for success in this role
