Skills & Experience required:
- Previous admin experience ideally, within a local authority

- Good understanding of Learning Disability and Day Centre teams in Adult Services
- A good understanding and experience of Excel is essential

What’s involved with this role:
An Admin Assistant is needed to provide Business Support to the Learning Disability and Day Centre teams in Adult Services. The role and responsibility will include meeting and greeting visitors to the building, overseeing the reception desk functions.
Duties also involve, updating databases (CareFirst) and spreadsheets, managing a team mailbox, placing orders for goods/services via SAP, paying invoices, the administration of the team Barclaycard, taking team minutes and other general office duties.
Initially the role is based on site only and once trained there may be the opportunity to work from home one day a week.
This is part-time job share post. The hours of work: 4 hours on a Wed – can be flexible, 8.30am – 5pm Thurs and 8.30am – 4.30pm Fri.
There is some flexibility with the hours and this could be discussed at interview.
