About The Help Hub
The Help Hub provides low-cost face-to-face and online counselling for adults in West Oxfordshire, run by trainee counsellors in their final year of training. Based in Woodstock, the service supports people who cannot access or afford private therapy, offering affordable sessions from £10 to £40 per 50 minutes, depending on financial circumstances.
Initial consultations and follow-up sessions are usually available within one to two weeks, and all enquiries are responded to within 48 hours. The Help Hub is supported by experienced psychotherapists, a multi-skilled Board of Trustees, an Ethical Committee, and a Programme Manager.
Originally founded by psychotherapist Ruth Chaloner in 2020 to help people struggling during the Covid-19 pandemic, The Help Hub has grown to meet the rising demand for accessible counselling in the community, continuing to provide vital mental health support across Oxfordshire.
