Humber Court, part of the Extra Care Charitable Trust, are recruiting now for a Night Care Assistant.

This is an exciting time to be joining the friendly and supportive team at Humber Court based in Coventry. You will play a major part in providing the domiciliary care service to our residents and promoting Independent Living to the over 55’s.

This is domiciliary care with a difference. Everything is in one location meaning no travelling between jobs!

Role: Care Assistant- Nights

Hours: Part time, 12 hours per week (22.30 and finishes at 07.30) worked over a 4 week period averaging 12 hours per week.

Salary: £12.96 ph

Location: Humber Court, Humber Road, Coventry, West Midlands, CV3 4FE

Professional Responsibilities:

As a Care Assistant Nights, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

  • Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities,
  • Promoting and supporting the physical, emotional and well-being of our residents
  • Encourage independence and self-belief
  • Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy.

Person Specification

  • Hold a care certificate or willing to undertake a care qualification
  • Personable, an effective communicator and a team player
  • Passionate about delivering a quality care service
  • Flexible with hours.
