About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about providing personalised care and support to our service user.

By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a young lady in Birmingham.

Our service user is very sociable and loves accessing the community, going shopping, for walks, and visiting the local playground. At home, she loves spending quality time with her family, watching TV shows, listening to music, playing in the garden, singing, reading books, and having pamper days.

She attends a specialist school full time, where she loves engaging in school activities and socialising with her friends. On weekdays, you will meet at her home to assist with her morning routine, then accompany her to school. Throughout the school day, you’ll be there to support her, and afterwards, you’ll accompany her back home.

Your role will include meeting her personal care needs, carrying out regular observations, managing her clinical interventions, and supporting her in all the activities she loves. You’ll be an essential part of her daily routine, helping her thrive both at home and school.

Please note, applicants must be able to demonstrate experience with both PEG feeding and oral suctioning.

Additionally, our service user has specifically requested female staff for their team.

Pay Rates:

  • £13.00 – £14.50 per hour
  • Approx. £130.00 – £145.00 (per 10-hour day shift)

Shifts Available:

  • Part Time Days (3 shifts per week)
  • Mondays & Wednesdays: 6:45am – 4:45pm
  • Saturdays: 10:00am – 3:00pm

  • 3 months previous care experience
