Duties

  • Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to service users
  • Administer medication following prescribed guidelines (training provided)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required
  • Support with light domestic tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Travel between care homes and home care locations using a valid driving licence when necessary
  • Communicate effectively with team members, service users, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
