We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our tech startup, 7TV Ltd. 7TV is a personalisation service that specialises in providing custom emotes and additional features for popular streaming platforms such as Twitch, Kick and Youtube. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting software and a keen eye for detail to contribute to our company’s success.

Duties

  • Manage and record all financial transactions using recognised accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all accounts are up-to-date and accurate
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Prepare financial reports, summaries, and statements for management review
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims
  • Maintain organised financial records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Support year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting activities as required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
  • Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities effectively
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are preferred but not essential
