Role

Bethany Christian Trusts Edinburgh Housing Support service offers accommodation and support to individuals who have registered as homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless within Edinburgh.

We are looking for a support worker to deliver Housing Support to individuals across Edinburgh. You will have a proven record as a team player with excellent communication skills; you will have experience and knowledge of the service user group and their surrounding issues.  Competence in the use of Microsoft office tools is essential. An SVQ 3 in Social Care, Promoting Independence or equivalent as listed by SSSC as appropriate for a ‘Housing Support Worker’ is desirable coupled with experiencee of working with vulnerable and homeless people.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Holiday entitlement: 225 hours per year pro rata
