About Us

We are a supported housing service providing exempt accommodation for vulnerable adults, including individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health needs, substance misuse issues, or those transitioning from the criminal justice system. Our aim is to help residents build stability, independence, and confidence through personalised support.

The Role

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and proactive Support Worker to join our North London team. You will work within our supported accommodation settings to offer day-to-day assistance, ensure residents’ safety and wellbeing, and help them move towards independent living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support sessions with residents
  • Assist residents in developing life skills (e.g. budgeting, cooking, appointments)
  • Support residents in accessing external services such as health, welfare, and employment agencies
  • Complete support plans, risk assessments, and incident reports
  • Promote a safe, clean, and positive living environment
  • Ensure compliance with exempt accommodation standards and organisational policies
  • Work collaboratively with other support staff, housing officers, and external professionals

About You

  • Previous experience in supported accommodation, homelessness services, or social care is desirable
  • Drives and has access to a vehicle
  • Empathetic, patient, and able to build positive professional relationships
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Able to maintain professional boundaries
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills for record-keeping and reporting
  • A DBS check is required (we can support with this if needed)
