We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our afternoon and evening shift (2:00pm to 10:00pm) on Monday and Tuesday.

Our vision is to transform community pharmacy from a primarily dispensing focus to a service-led role utilising the UK’s first state of-the-art centralised automated pharmacy hub. In combination Pharmacy Plus Health, our chain of independent pharmacies, and supplying independent pharmacies, we will liberate teams from the daily dispensing to focus on delivering clinical services to patients. We need to support the pharmacy team on their transformation journey to free up capacity and reach their full clinical potential.

ROLE PURPOSE

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality supply chain service to our internal and external customers, ensuring all goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched in line with operational KPIs and compliance requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately assemble and pick customer orders for dispatch.
  • Take delivery of goods, ensuring they are checked and stored correctly, escalating any discrepancies.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for any damage or missing items, reporting issues promptly.
  • Replenish stock as required.
  • Comply with all relevant company SOP’s, information governance, policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the day‑to‑day organisation of the warehouse.
  • Assist in the annual stock takes
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard‑free working environment
  • Perform general warehouse duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Production Manager.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational targets and maintain a positive, productive team environment.

  • Previous experience in a fast‑paced warehouse or logistics environment.

  • Level 2 Pharmacy Assistant
  • Counterbalance or Reach Truck Licence

  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Heavy lifting, bending and physical activity.
  • Working in varying temperature conditions depending on warehouse setup.
  • Evening work or shift rotations depending on operational needs.
  • Cleaning and general housekeeping tasks.
