Position: Personal Care Assistant
Salary: £14.85 to £16.85 an hour

About the Role
In this role, you will support a young woman with complex learning disabilities and no verbal language who participates in lots of amazing activities including yoga, swimming, music therapy, collaborating with a top London orchestra, outdoor adventures, working at two farming projects and eating gorgeous food – all of this makes the role incredibly varied and inspiring!
We have the opportunity to offer sponsorship through our Health and Care Worker Visa for this position, for a candidate who meets the requirements.
Experience working in care isn’t essential or even preferred, but just as long as you are empathetic with a positive mental attitude. This opportunity provides a journey that will be deeply rewarding and great fun for the right candidate. You will need stamina and resilience both mental and physical, zest for life, the capacity to be fully present to the moment all the time you are on duty, and absolutely critical…a great sense of humour!
Shift Pattern:
Full time- 40 hours a week
Main Duties
- Provide expert care based on a personalised plan in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Demonstratable commitment to providing high quality, safe and effective care
- Have an understanding of safeguarding
- Excellent communication skills and be able to fit into a family setting
- Have the ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing holistic care.
- UK driving license
- Confident swimming skills
