About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant/Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications(including dosette boxes), ensuring that patients receive the correct prescriptions in a timely manner. Your commitment to patient care and adherence to pharmacy regulations will be essential in providing high-quality service to our community.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation of medication, including compounding where necessary.
  • Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications and their administration.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Ensure that the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes through effective medication management.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
