Pharmacy Dispensary Technician at BMP Healthcare (Sponsorship available)

BMP are a well-established community pharmacy located in the Belgrave area of Leicester, UK. The pharmacy provides a range of healthcare services and products to local residents, including prescription dispensing, over-the-counter medications, health supplements, and personal care items.

The pharmacy also offers a number of additional services, such as medication reviews, flu vaccinations, blood pressure checks, and travel health advice. Their staff are highly trained and dedicated to providing excellent customer service and advice on all aspects of healthcare. The pharmacy is open six days a week, with extended opening hours to accommodate the needs of its customers.

As well as operating a popular travel clinic, they provide the unique PharmacyPac, to help you manage your medicines that much better.

Position: Pharmacy Dispensary Technician

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 per year

About the Role

BMP Healthcare have a vacancy for a Dispenser Assistant to join our team. BMP is an established and busy independent pharmacy that focuses on customer care and satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone that has initiative, is a quick learner and is good with people and wants to contribute to a growing business. You will understand the importance of accuracy within our environment, and be able to demonstrate your ability to work well within a team.

Main Duties

  • An excellent understanding of providing an enhanced customer experience.
  • Maintain an accurate, efficient and professional counter experience for all our customers.
  • Administration support in the vaccination centre
  • Advising customers on health products
  • Replenishment and cleaning
  • Support the onsite pharmacist in achieving excellence in our customer experience and meeting all legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • An excellent understanding of providing an enhanced customer experience.
  • Must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills
  • The successful candidate will be polite, vigilant and have the ability to work well under pressure. You will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work well on your own initiative and the enthusiasm to complete all aspects of the course.
  • Able to build relationships with key partners (GP surgeries, care/nursing homes etc.)
  • Experience in ordering and merchandising and replenishment
  • A high standard of English and communication skills.
  • A good level of maths.
  • Minimum five GCSE passes
  • Able to comply fully and understand the importance of customer confidentiality.
  • Good organisational skills, excellent time management skills and able to work to strict deadlines and multitask.
  • A willingness to learn and apply new skills.
