Position: Pharmacy Dispenser/Healthcare Assistant

Salary: £11.44 -£11.90 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

About the Role

This Job/Role, is for a Dispensary & Healthcare Assistant in Chinnor Pharmacy. Note: You will also be trained in over the counter healthcare and must be able to provide both roles where and when required.

(WE CAN OFFER TIER 2 VISA SPONSORSHIPS (for the right overseas Pharmacist candidate)

Main Duties

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
  • Provide patient care by answering questions and providing medication information
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration
  • Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
  • Follow all pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations- Provision of Pharmaceutical Services e.g. Covid/Flu vaccines / Ear microsuction (training given)
  • Healthcare/over the counter advice
  • Shop floor merchandising

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a pharmacy dispenser or pharmacy technician preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in any retail sector preferred but not required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
  • Good communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High level of professionalism and ethics in handling confidential patient information
  • Developing relationships with patients and healthcare organisations to ensure that we deliver the most effective and patient friendly customer service.

  • Mon 9am-6pm , Weds 9am-6pm, Fri 2pm-6pm + 1 in every 4 Saturdays (9am-1pm)
