The Role
Join us as a qualified Pharmacy Dispenser, Technician or ACT and play a key role in supporting our growing NHS Pharmacy service. Working under the supervision of the responsible pharmacist, you’ll be essential to ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely supply of prescribed medication to patients.
From dispensing and packaging medications to supporting new patient nominations and handling healthcare queries, you’ll be at the centre of our pharmacy. If you’re ready to bring accuracy, professionalism, and genuine care to our team, we want to hear from you.
Wondering what a typical week might look like?
- Dispensing and packaging medications with accuracy and safety in mind
- Supporting patient nominations and managing healthcare queries
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and inventory management
- Dispensing medication into blister packs (monitored dosage systems) to support patient safety
- Engaging with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals across different platforms
- Assembling online sales from third party websites e.g. eBay and Amazon
The Candidate
- We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented and highly dependable pharmacy dispenser, technician or ACT with experience in dispensing, who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
- You will be a confident and clear communicator with a keen eye for accuracy, committed to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of pharmacy operations while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency.
- Comfortable working independently or with others, you’ll bring a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety to everything you do. With our exciting growth plans, we need someone who is aligned with our goals.
