Salary: £13.80 to £15.00 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated private caregivers to provide personalised in-home care for elderly individuals across the city of London. The ideal candidate will be reliable, empathetic, and experienced in offering support with daily activities, mobility assistance, personal care, and companionship. The caregiver will be responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of the client while maintaining their dignity and independence as much as possible.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist with daily hygiene routines, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Mobility Assistance: Help the client move around the house, transfer from bed to chair, and assist with walking or using mobility aids.
- Medication Management: Administer medication as prescribed and monitor for side effects or reactions. Ensure that prescriptions are refilled in a timely manner.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals that meet the client’s dietary needs and preferences. Assist with feeding if necessary.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support through companionship, conversation, and recreational activities. Encourage engagement in hobbies or other activities to improve quality of life.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organising the client’s living space to ensure a safe and tidy environment.
- Errands and Transportation: Help with errands, including grocery shopping, attending medical appointments, and social activities as needed.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Observe and report any changes in the client’s health, mood, or behavior to the family or relevant medical professionals.
Expected hours: 20 – 48 per week
