Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 a year

About the Role
The Data Portfolio Management team manage the portfolio of data assets that are shared for research and commissioning purposes. Working across a number of teams to ensure that data assets are elaborated, meet all legal and information governance requirements, can be provisioned via a Secure Data Access Environment.
The team also manage a number of service improvement projects. The teams focus is on the information and metadata about the datasets, so this is not a technical role where you would be accessing record level data.
This post will be expected to deliver projects themselves AND oversee the delivery of all the other work undertaken within the team.
Main Duties
- Managing project delivery using Agile principles as appropriate to the area of work (programme and operations)
- Planning and delivery in line with User Centred Design principles
- Development and delivery duties within Project Management Office

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

The Project Manager must have:
Experience of project delivery across different lifecycles of a project, reporting on progress and managing risks and issues, escalating where necessary to the project board.
Experience of project delivery of data or digital products/services, using Agile principles and in line with User Centred Design principles.
Experience of delivery and management of tasks and activities in Project Management Office.
Ability to build relations with internal and external partners which are critical in securing the strategic objectives of the business.
Ability to effectively plan and think strategically and analyse and resolve problems in a multidisciplinary environment.
Ability to effectively facilitate communication and collaboration between workstreams, senior management and wider business areas
This role is Leeds based, with a Leeds/hybrid working pattern. Due to the upcoming Christmas holidays, the interviews may be held in January.
