About the Role

An NHS Hospital is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join their multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients with mental health conditions, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.

Main Duties

  • Conducting initial patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitoring patients’ progress and adjusting care plans accordingly
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care
  • Providing counseling, support, and education to patients and their families
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Following hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety
  • Participating in training and professional development activities


  • Valid and current registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Successful completion of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum overall score of 7.0, or equivalent
  • Completion of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training
  • Hold an NMC decision letter
  • Not being from a red list country (as per current travel and immigration regulations)
  • Previous experience in a mental health setting is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
