Job Description
We are currently recruiting a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our care home team in Ebbw Vale, South Wales. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a supportive and professional environment.
We welcome international applicants who have passed the OSCE and are awaiting their NMC PIN. Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective nursing care aligned with residents’ individual needs
- Act as Named Nurse for allocated residents to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain and review care plans and risk assessments regularly
- Lead and support care staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained
- Administer medication and respond to clinical changes promptly
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Uphold NMC standards and ensure accurate documentation
- Work in accordance with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) regulations and Social Care Wales’ Code of Professional Practice
Requirements:
- NMC registration (PIN) OR OSCE passed and awaiting PIN
- CBT passed, with IELTS/OET scores that meet NMC requirements
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Up-to-date mandatory training in:
- Moving and Handling
- Infection Prevention and Control
- Adult Safeguarding
- Health and Safety
- Medication administration
- Previous experience in elderly or residential care preferred
- Strong communication and clinical leadership skills
- Eligible to work in the UK (visa sponsorship available)
