Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and tech-savvy School Administrator to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school’s online operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative, technical, and financial support, helping both students and teachers with systems and processes to keep everything running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operation of the school’s online systems.
- Manage attendance using ISAMS, liaising with parents and teachers regarding absences, and ensuring all students are registered for every lesson.
- Manage student enrolments and maintain accurate records in ISAMS.
- Liaise with teachers, students, and parents to provide support and information as needed.
- Organise and maintain digital files and records securely.
- Create documents as requested by parents and staff.
Technical Support
- Provide first-line IT support for teachers and students using Microsoft Teams, Office, ISAMS, IXL, and ePlatform.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate more complex problems when necessary.
- Set up and manage user accounts across learning and administrative platforms.
- Support staff and students with login issues, permissions, and access queries.
Finance and Enrolment
- Assist with processing payments, invoices, and enrolment fees.
- Maintain accurate financial records and liaise with the finance team as required.
- Track and report on student payments and enrolment statuses.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident with technology and capable of providing basic IT support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience using or learning new digital platforms quickly.
- Basic finance or bookkeeping skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
- Experience working in a school or educational setting.
- Familiarity with iSAMS, IXL, and ePlatform.
- Experience working remotely in a digital environment.
- Full training will be provided. For the purposes of tax, you will be considered as self-employed and you will submit an invoice monthly.
