With over 35 years of experience in the industry, Tom began his career as an apprentice shop fitter for William Nicholson & Son. In 2002, he progressed to the role of site manager, overseeing a wide range of large-scale commercial projects, including schools and healthcare facilities.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team. We are a construction company. We do shopfitting and commercial kitchen.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing comprehensive administrative support. This position requires making records of transactions. Handling work plans. Ensuring that good records. An accounting background important. Construction industry knowledge will be helpful.

Main Duties

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Manage correspondence, including emails and phone calls, ensuring timely responses.
  • Maintain and organise files, records, and documentation using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements using Outlook.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve office processes and workflows.
  • Prepare reports and presentations as required, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Support the management team with various administrative tasks as needed.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Turkish, with a focus on clear verbal and written communication.
  • Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
