About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in various software applications, including will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage office correspondence, including emails and phone calls, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in maintaining office supplies and inventory management.
- Organise and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements as required.
- Prepare reports and presentations using Google Suite applications.
- Support bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including invoicing and expense tracking.
- Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve office efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using computerised systems for data entry and document management.
- Familiarity with Xero for basic accounting tasks is a plus.
- Strong skills in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) for effective document creation and collaboration.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
