About the Role
Part-Time 12-15 hours a week (Wednesday/Thursday preferred) – school hours acceptable
GLA Group delivers practical training in roofing, labouring and green initiatives for people furthest from the labour market, including people on probation, ex-offenders, young offenders, youth justice, the long-term unemployed, and those new to the industry. We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Remote Administrative Assistant to support our team from home. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, tech-savvy, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote environment.
GLA Group head office is based in Colchester and training will be coordinated from there.
Key Responsibilities
- Forward assessments and manage documentation
- Handle GLA Installer cards and CSCS cards
- Take accurate meeting minutes and distribute them
- Order and manage stock and supplies
- Provide support with HR and training processes
- Schedule and organize Teams meetings
- Assist with marketing activities
- Support team members with ad hoc tasks
- Help prepare documentation for new contracts
- Conduct research as required
- Manage printing coordination and related tasks
- Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) and remote work tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous administrative experience preferred
